AFTER CARE

EXTENDED DAY

The goal of the Extended Day Program is for your child to feel welcomed, safe, and nurtured. Our program provides an intentional, joyful, loving, inclusive, importantly fun environment for students. It is also an opportunity for them to be with other children and keep the fun of the school day going!

Each day, students enjoy a variety of activities including homework help, creative arts, recess, indoor/outdoor games. Our dedicated staff focus on fostering academic growth, personal development, and social skills while ensuring fun and relaxation after school hours. Whether students are looking to enhance their skills, explore new interests, or simply unwind, our program is designed to meet their needs and provide a positive after-school experience.

This program is open in the afternoon from MTThF 3:00pm - 6:00 pm and W 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm for our students in kindergarten - 5th grade.

The Extended Day Program is also available for some noon dismissal days and school closure days, subject to availability.

The cost of Extended Day is $35 per day for each child on normal days (MTThF 3:00pm - 6:00pm) and W 2:00pm - 6:00pm) and $50 on noon dismissal days (12:00pm - 6:00 pm). If you enroll more than one child in our program, it will cost $25 for each additional child. This discount will only apply if all siblings are present in Extended Day during that day.

CYO SPORTS

Program

At St. Benedict School all students are welcome to participate in extracurricular athletics. The school utilizes the Seattle Archdiocese’s Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) to run its after school programs. Students compete against other CYO teams during each sport’s season.

CYO is committed to the dignity and worth of each child it serves, regardless of physical talents, mental strength, or emotional health, and hopes that the same respect for life will become a part of his or her value system. CYO wants each child to know that they are wanted and loved.
